This oddball restaurant is an outpost of a worldwide chain that has over a thousand branded locations, but none of them is quite like this! The franchise is owned by a Chinese family who realized that they could serve the community with authentic Chinese food during the lunch and dinner hours, when people typically aren’t eating donuts. Regulars rave about the dishes here, which are perfectly spiced, prepared quickly and inexpensive. The Kung Pao chicken is excellent, packing just enough heat to make you sweat without being overwhelming.
